Our Proposal Story: Hunter and Mackenzie.

Being a part of Ascot Diamonds sales team is truly a delightful experience. Every day, we get to be a part of someone’s life that will eventually change forever. The best part of the job is hearing from a client’s the result of their “perfect proposal”. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing some of our favorite client engagement stories. We are proud and honored to be able to provide a part of this experience for our customers.

Hunter & Mackenzie

Typically when a client comes in to look for the perfect engagement ring, it takes 2-3 visits to narrow it down. Hunter was the exception…it only took one. He was so excited and anxious on his visit. Hunter had some ideas in mind of what he was looking for but there was one style in particular that he had saved on his phone for quite some time that Mackenzie was most drawn to. When he shared it with me, we had the perfect hand-crafted ring for him. Sure enough, Hunter fell in love.

I asked him when he was planning on proposing and he said, well in about a month but in a perfect world, he would love to propose to Mackenzie at the end of the week, at a Detroit Tigers baseball game in Detroit. We were short on time but I could tell this would make his proposal timeline perfect. I was bound to make it happen!

Mackenzie is from Michigan so she is a huge Tigers fan. Hunter was lucky enough to have a suite from his company on a Friday night to watch the game. He invited 11 of Mackenzie’s family members to the game to be a part of their special moment.
Right before the first pitch he got down on one knee and popped the big question. As you can see in the photo, Mackenzie was very surprised. She absolutely loves her engagement ring and his perfect plan to propose to her. Hunter did an excellent job…especially for a sports fan!
